Big Bang Club

Big Bang Club is a theme event, based on clubs of the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s where you were able to dance the sticky rhythms of Swing, JumpBlues, Rhythm & Blues, Rock and Roll, Jive, Soul, Garage, Surf, Country, Stroll or Rockabilly.

In each party we count with the best Djs and canary music bands, national or international bands, which will play the soundtrack of every pub monthly.

The space may be adequate to our necessities, a huge dancing floor, a Dj cabin and a stage where the concerts can be placed.

What we’re trying to do is to fill an empty space for retro dancing followers. A place to remember those times where music established the patrons it follows nowadays, the origin of young music, fan phenomena, the birth of rock and roll.

Swing and Jump Blues music will have its important place in each occasion, they are the trendy music since the came of Lindy Hop. Rockabilly, surf or garaje will also have their own space in these events.

La Brújula ocio y cultura has been the precursor of bringing swing in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria for years, creating academies and fans of this culture nowadays.

For all this and our own love of Culture, we create a scene making this needed party on different establishments of the island so the fanatics of these glorious decades have a place where to have fun monthly.

So if you like culture and music from these decades we invite you to come, to dress up with your best and to dance these social rhythms which will be stuck in your feets, your head and your heart.
